Institute on Innovation in Training and Teaching Sep 11 - Sep 12 NERCOMP Bb Users Group Conference Sep 22 PghBbUG Oct 6 - Oct 7 The 5th annual users conference for the Pittsburgh Users Group with 22 member institutions. Filled with Deans, Administrators, Faculty, Librarians & Instructional Technologists. SLATE Oct 9 - Oct 10 An annual event presented by the Midwest Blackboard Users Group and hosted by the University of Chicago. This conference invites all faculty, system administrators, CIO's, Web developers, librarians, students, and user support staff from institutions that are deploying and/or currently using Web-based tools, specifically Blackboard or WebCT (but others as well), in their teaching and learning. Almost 175 attendees from 40 institutions, from across the country, participated in last year's conference. miBug Oct 16 - Oct 17 miBUG hosts an annual conference as well as quarterly special interest sessions. Both the conference and special interest sessions allow member institutions to benefit from one another's experiences with Blackboard as well as putting us into contact with vendors and representatives from Blackboard. NW eLearn Oct 17 Over 100 faculty and staff participated last year, enjoying a rousing keynote and great breakouts, opportunities for networking and, as promised, good food.
